The Nash

Major roofing works were recently undertaken to outbuildings at The Nash ,Kempsey, a site with significant historical value. The Nash, located in the village of Kempsey, dates back several centuries and has long been a prominent feature of the local architectural heritage. Originally constructed during the late medieval period, these outbuildings have served various agricultural and storage purposes, supporting the estate’s main residential structures.

The roofing project involved comprehensive restoration to preserve the structural integrity and historic character of the buildings. Traditional materials reclaimed clay tiles were used to maintain authenticity, alongside expert leadwork repairs to ensure weatherproofing in line with conservation best practices. By combining skilled craftsmanship with respect for the building’s heritage, the work extends the lifespan of these locally significant outbuildings while retaining their original aesthetic appeal. Heritage Roofing Contractors Ltd is proud to contribute to the preservation of Kempsey’s architectural history through such careful and detailed roofing restoration.
